Making the rounds lately is this great clip from The Tonight Show... I'm re-reading that statement and I realize how truly odd it sounds to suggest that Jay Leno's groanfest would feature anything fascinating these days. But alas, NBC seemingly aired this (almost) completely unedited performance by Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes fame. It's a combustible song, a great song, and a stunning moment in recent American television. Not to mention, this is the kind of stuff you just don't see on American network TV much these days.
