The official schedule grid for Fantastic Fest is up and running. The first-ever edition of Fantastic Fest begins Thursday, headlined with the Opening Night Film, Zathura. Director Jon Favreau and actor Dax Shephard are among the talent scheduled to attend, and it promises to be quite an evening. I don't wanna spoil the surprises, but let's just say the studio, Sony Pictures, is planning to make a big splash in Austin that night.

Plus, word has just hit that Disney will host a special presentation about the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia. This joins the already-announced panel for Warner Independent's A Scanner Darkly. Some of films scheduled to screen include Magnolia's Pulse, Wellspring's Strings, the Weinstein Company's Feast, and tons more.
