Every year, as part of the SXSW Film panels (March 11-14), we team up with the SXSW Interactive Conference for a series of joint sessions. This allows attendees to witness the true crossover potential between the worlds of filmmaking and new media. For SXSW 2006, we're getting some assistance from the folks at the Digital Convergence Initiative, who have helped put together an impressive lineup for SXSW Film and Interactive registrants.
The panel topics include:
Cyberplace: Online in Offline Spaces and Vice Versa
Venture Capital vs. Credit Cards: Funding Strategies for Digital Convergence Businesses
Serious Games for Learning
The Future of Darknets: Can Hollywood See the Light?
How to develop for Personal Devices
