The 9th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival comes to Austin, April 19-23. The city of Austin is overflowing with film festivals, but this is the biggest one in town dedicated to new Latin filmmaking from around the globe. It all begins with Cama Adentro from Argentina, and then rolls on for four more days of great stuff including features, shorts, documentaries, etc. Some of the highlights on the feature side include the terrific Mexican documentary Al otro lado, the US border doc Crossing Arizona, the Chilean/German narrative film En La Cama, and much more.
