Since I was a young film geek living in Brownsville, TX, I've been a big fan of Premiere magazine. This is before the Internet, before Entertainment Tonight, before Entertainmet Weekly, before any number of film news sources we have today. At the time (late 1980s), Premiere was one of the only places a kid like me in the middle of nowhere could get any kind of movie news or scoops. And, to this day, I'm a faithful reader.

But, the Premiere Web site has always left something to be desired... until this week. The team at Premiere has relaunched its site, and it looks rather impressive. It's a fairly comprehensive overhaul, and added to the mix are all the bells and whistles one would expect in such a fine institution of film journalism. For yours truly, it's already bookmarked, and I look forward to many happy clicks back to the new site. And, quite possibly, a new era of Premiere readership.
