'Sinus Show' Closes Its Curtain

Austin's popular "Sinus Show" is officially done, after months of speculation due to ever-changing lineups in the renowned and controversial movie-skewering comedy troupe. Apparently, tension between the three founding members - John, Owen, Jerm - had reached a boiling point. But, that's all we know for now. Meanwhile, this is obviously a major blow to the patronage of the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown. With the opening of other Alamo Drafthouse locations, The Sinus Show had become the flagship event (with constant sell-out crowds) for the original theater. Hopefully something really exciting and new will help fill the void left in that reliable part of the calendar. More on the Sinus Show break-up, over at the Ausin Movie Blog.

it's a shame... got to see them when we shot at the Alamo in the fall and they were hilarious. The movie was Snakes on a Plane, which just made things that much better. Really nice guys, hope they keep doing their thing, individually now, i guess...
