There's a band on the SXSW music festival schedule called Ola Podrida. Despite the name, the band is not international in sound or membership. It's a new outfit, led by famed indie-film composer David Wingo. Aside from composing scores to all David Gordon Green films, Wingo has also scored Todd Rohal's Guatemalan Handshake and Craig Zobel's Great World of Sound (screening at SXSW this year).
