The Mavs and Rockets are out of the race, which means the San Antonio Spurs are the only Texas basketball team left in the NBA playoffs. It's a great era for Texas NBA teams, but all we've got to count on now is the Spurs. Which, if today's match against the Phoenix Suns is any indication, is not such a bad place to be. In their first game of the Western Conference Semifinals, the Spurs triumphantly defeated the Suns, 111-106. And, left the Suns' Steve Nash bloodied after a head-on collision with Tony Parker.
