Prince Played Downtown Austin This Weekend?
I'm hearing from several sources that Prince (yes, THAT Prince) played a brief set at a private party inside downtown Austin bar, The Belmont, on Saturday night. Anyone hear details? Anyone who was there?
In seemingly unrelated news, Prince was recently backed (at the ALMA Awards) by Austin worldbeat/party band, Grupo Fantasma.

Yes. Prince was there. He played 7 songs on and off for about 2 hours. It was a private birthday party. He was backed by Grupo Fantasma for several songs and played w/ his band for some.
