Don Herbert, aka TV's "Mr. Wizard," has died at the age of 89. I used to watch his television show religiously, so this is sad news to me. Though, to be frank, I wouldn't have guessed he was still alive. Regardless, goodbye Mr. Wizard. Dry ice won't be the same without you.
I used to have a Mr. Wizard chemistry set when I was about ten. This guy is responsible for me almost blowing up the house! Ah, fond memories.
I am happy that you commented on the passing of Don Herbert. He was a hero of mine as a youth, and made us all a little more curious and confident.
