'Hannah Takes the Stairs' Coming to Theaters on August 22
I've been waiting a long time to finally share this news on the blog, but now is the time. indieWIRE reports that IFC First Take will release Joe Swanberg's SXSW 2007 premiere Hannah Takes the Stairs, on August 22. I'm so happy for the Hannah team, and I think IFC made a really good call by acquiring a film that will be the "go-to" movie when everyone talks about this whole "mumblecore" phenomenon in American indie film. Now, it's all about spreading the word, and making sure butts are in the seats for the NYC premiere of Hannah Takes the Stairs. See the film's festival trailer here.
