Last Friday night, I had dinner with filmmakers Bryan Poyser and Alex Karpovsky, but they didn't come to chat with me. They came to dinner to pick Jarren's brain, because the two of them are playing law school students in Andrew Bujalski's third feature, currently in production in Austin. I think it was a good little study session for all three of them, as they got tips on terms from Jarren and she got a chance to discuss the very material she's studying daily in preparation for the Texas State Bar exams. Anyway, over on his great blog, Poyser gives a brief recap of his day shooting with Karpovsky and Bujalski... and how his home has been transformed for some of the shoot.
