There I was, just minding my business, making one of my weekly visits to the Box Office Mojo release schedule when I noticed a very familiar title: King Corn. This splendid documentary, by the equally splendid Aaron Woolf, was a smash success with audiences during its world premiere at SXSW 2007. It has done rather well on the festival circuit, so I assume it was only a matter of time before the doc would land in theaters. That time has come. There has not been an official announcement yet, so I guess this is our way of finding out. According to Box Office Mojo, the film is due in theaters on October 12. After a little more searching, I found that it is indeed on the Balcony Releasing Web site as an upcoming release for the doc-centric company.
