Craig Zobel's Great World of Sound is something special. The film announced its distribution deal with Magnolia Pictures, during SXSW 2007, and we couldn't have been more proud. It's a funny, heartfelt, and memorable film, the kind of American indie we don't see enough these days. Zobel is the architect of a nuanced and comedic tale of two salesmen who are selling dreams to would-be musicians/singers. And if co-star Kene Holliday does not get an Indepedent Spirit Award nomination, I will be shocked. Magnolia Pictures is set to release the SXSW 2007 hit, on September 14 in New York.
