Chatting by the Side of a Fire at Slamdance.
If you're gonna be in Park City next week for Sundance/Slamdance, and you need a few minutes to warm up, come by the Treasure Mountain Inn on Main Street on Sunday, January 20. I've been invited to join a "Fireside Chat" panel, revolving around online film communities. The panel is set for 1 p.m., and if early weather forecasts for Park City stick, we're all gonna find ourselves in need of some heat. Anyway, here's the official blurb for our "Fireside Chat:"
Panelists will explore the developments in online distribution for indie filmmakers including building online communities and marketing with digital media. We will chat with experts about the use of social networking sites to develop and promote independent film.
