Just last night, I was re-watching Michael Mann's terrific, fact-based journo-thriller The Insider. I love that movie. And, I realized how I didn't quite appreciate Christopher Plummer's portrayal of 60 Minutes veteran Mike Wallace, until now. It's a subtly smart performance. And soon, Austin residents can see more of the real Wallace, thanks to the Harry Ransom Center. There's a wealth of great clips available to watch online, and I think I've just found a nice way to spend a rainy weekend afternoon.
