I'm in L.A. for a few days. Last night, I attended the Hollywood premiere of Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay at the ArcLight. I'd already seen the movie, of course, but I wanted to catch it again and support my friends involved. The film played well, but I have to admit, it didn't quite rip the roof off the joint like it did at SXSW this year. It's still a crowd-pleasing laughfest, and I have no doubt that it's gonna be a hit. The after-party at The Green Door was lively and fun, but I could tell that Kal Penn is exhausted and ready to wrap up promotional duties on the film as well as the shooting schedule on this season of House.
