Sundance and 'Teen' @ BAM

On Thursday night, the Sundance Institute launched its Sundance @ BAM screening series at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which wraps on June 8. It all started with a special screening of Nanette Burstein's documentary American Teen, which was a massive crowd-pleaser at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The Paramount Vantage and A&E IndieFilms doc will have its theatrical release in July. Meanwhile, the party on Thursday took on an appropriate prom theme, and many New York industry and filmmakers came out to celebrate:
