"In A World..." Without Don LaFontaine

He was an unnamed, unknown film icon. He was the voice, literally, of a generation of film audiences. He was Don LaFontaine, and he died at the age of 68 You've heard his voice in countless film trailers and television commercials. I'd heard stories for years in Hollywood, about his high rates or the fact that he only travels to jobs by limo, but I used to always think: "well, wouldn't anyone who had that voice?" William Goss at Cinematical has more on his legacy, as well as an informative and sweet video about LaFontaine's career.
