McCain Cancels CNN Interview. Here's Why...

John McCain was scheduled to participate in an interview with Larry King on CNN, following the second night of the Republican National Convention. Seems like a great opportunity for the candidate to make an appearance, no? No. At the 11th hour, McCain has bowed out of the interview, and cited Campbell Brown's electric interview with McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds, as the reason. You know, the one where he couldn't come up with a reason to explain why Sarah Palin would make a good Commander-in-Chief. Here's the offending interview, below. What do you think? Too harsh, or within reason?

Maybe they should have used a spokes person out of high school... Campbell Brown is a terrific, tenacious journalist. Reminds me of a young Ted Koppel.
