Next weekend, I am attending the Vancouver International Film Festival. Totally excited. Never been to Vancouver, but always wanted to check it out. Plus, I've always heard great things about this festival, and I'm anxious to dive into their program. Speaking of which, I'm also speaking on a couple of panels during VIFF. One of which, called "The Times They Are A-Changin'," will include Ballast director Lance Hammer. I'm sure it will be a lively discussion about the changing tides of distribution.
