Mute Records and the Rebirth of the 1980s

I was on the Dailymotion page for Mute Records today when I came across new videos for Hercules & Love Affair and M83, two artists on the label who personify a rebirth of 80s synth-pop. M83 combines early New Order with early Magnetic Fields, while Hercules & Love Affair have a club-worthy dance sound that recalls Erasure. Great as the music is, things don't stop there. In keeping with the bands' sounds, their videos are also decidedly on the 80s side of things. Check them out:
