SXSW Gets More… Fantastic

Hats off to Tim League and company for curating a very exciting program of midnight movies for a special sidebar at SXSW 2009, called “SXSW Presents Fantastic Fest at Midnight.” Tim, who runs the annual Fantastic Fest every September, has wrangled a handful of anticipated genre films for all us geeks going down to Austin next month. Among the highlights: Ong Bak 2 (which needs no description) and buzzed-about international titles The Horseman, Black, and Lesbian Vampire Killers. These will all screen alongside the also-impressive usual SXSW midnight movie lineup. Expect some late nights in Austin. Get the full sidebar program here.
