‘Twelfth Night’ in Central Park

On Sunday night, shortly after returning to Manhattan from a nice weekend in Connecticut, Devon and I ventured to Central Park to see the Public Theater’s “Shakespeare in the Park” production of Twelfth Night (thanks to our friend Bruce). Not much to say specifically, but my first “Shakespeare in the Park” experience was terrific, aided by miraculously beautiful weather. I’m sure these productions would be much better without the constant distraction of helicopters and airplanes flying overhead, but no matter, the performers were sharp and the production was a delight. It helps that this is one of The Bard’s most rollicking, yet sturdy, works. You can catch it until July 12.
