So, I'm at Sundance for my seventh consecutive year but my first time as part of sales agency Cinetic, and not SXSW. On the flight over, I enjoyed watching a few TV shows and movies. What caught my eye, was noticing two Cinetic movies from Sundance 2008: Transsiberian (sold to First Look) and Diminished Capacity (sold to IFC Films). While many big selections from Sundance 2008 have still not seen the light of day (whatever happened to Pretty Bird? The Merry Gentleman? The Mysteries of Pittsburgh?), it's great to see some of the films already available in ancillary outlets as we physically make our way to Sundance 2009. Watch this space.

So did anyone ever answer your questions from this post? Pretty Bird was the movie I was most eager to see from last year's fest, and I haven't heard word one about it since its screenings at Sundance.
