Good news, not only for the Austin-based crews that work on the show but also for fans of quality TV drama: word is that NBC's Friday Night Lights is not only getting a renewal, but will receive a two-season comeback following this year's strong and startling episodes. The show has been doomed for oblivion since it premiered, but thankfully it sounds like audiences are catching up to what critics and die-hards have touted all along. An early sign of good news was probably the announcement that series star Kyle Chandler recently decided to permanently relocate his wife and children to a home near Austin's city limits.
