James Gandolfini Dies in Italy: Media Sources

James Gandolfini, the star of HBO's series The Sopranos and an actor in many movies, has reportedly died in Italy, according to many media sources. 

The cause may have been a heart attack or a stroke, the reports said.

Gandolfini, 51, was beloved for his portrayal of Mafia boss Tony Soprani, in one of the most iconic roles in TV history. 

After the initial reports, Twitter was abuzz with tweets saying that HBO confirmed the death
