  Well Dexter and Deb are not really related, so it's not really incest but it is still just as hot & kinky as it would be if it was incest!

  Really? Mass murder, other strong sexual content, and lots of controversial religious subtexts this season and this is what you oppose? It's not even really incest considering they're not biologically related. You should probably get your priorities straight.

  OK, so I know this is a very old post and as an Anonymous poster this most likely means this was a drive by posting and you will not see my reply ~ but I just wanna say THANK YOU! I am watching the season late. But I am watching it fully aware of all the horrors and sins that comes along with the program. It's a guilty pleasure. Whatever. So I have been reading a lot of forums, and people seem SO freaked out by this! ???? These are most likely the same people secretly hoping for it. And it is NOT that big of a stretch! And as you mentioned ~ compared to everything else in the show ~ especially the MAIN running theme ~ that the protagonist is also the antagonist .... hello? Serial killer? And this is what bothers people? They were raised in the same home. So are foster children. I have good friends I have grown up with that I refer to as my sisters and brothers. But saying it does not actually make it so. It honestly makes perfect sense to me. If you subtract the fact that Dex is a sociopath ~ he is also the one constant in Deb's life. He loves her, never leaves, never lets her down, yada yada yada. And if we take out the fact that Deb saw him murder someone and she will more than likely have a "good feeling gone" moment ~ I honestly do not think Dex would return those feelings. I think he truly, wholeheartedly sees her as a real sister. Anyways ~ I am getting off topic here. Was just refreshing to finally see ONE person in a gazillion point out the completely obvious here. :)

  I was devastated by the latest episode with the incest hints. I don't know if I can keep watching the show now. What an awful idea. Why the hell would the writers think that'd be a good idea?

  It's a show about murdering people. That's okay, but sexual content isn't? It's not incest, so rest assured that you can still watch the show :) Though I must say, you're moral compass is pretty ridiculous, especially considering the show's fictitious nature.
