Tribeca punk doc interviews (painted black)

Here’s a blog whose reproduction of my feature in “Downtown Express” looks better than the original because of the (punk) black background! I interviewed Mandy Stein, director of Burning Down the House: The Story of CBGB and Celine Danhier, director of Blank City.  The films will world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Sex without love

Sexy cinematography, editing and sound.  Sexy cast.  Hell, the credits are sexy.  I saw a preview of Steven Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience last night, set to world premiere at Tribeca later in the month.  It follows the life of a Manhattan call girl, in business for herself.  The characters are bloodless, soulless.  It’s an empty experience.

But as empty experiences go….
