A female sensibility in film?  Yes.  “The Black Balloon,”  directed by Elissa Down, is not so much a film about a family with an autistic boy, as it is the day-by-day/ minute-by-minute negotiation of household chaos, with Toni Collette as a mother in the eye of the storm.
