I had a great time checking out local talent on the big screen at the recently concluded Nashville Film Festival, and in country music clubs downtown, where a superhero of a building looms. In a conversation that took place in a very, very cool Gibson band-touring bus behind festival headquarters, artistic director Brian Owens told me, "The festival fits into a vibe of creativity expanding beyond its music roots into film."
