New York Film Festival- Game on
This town has two major festivals. One is a perfect diamond, one is a gaudy bauble. One leaves me in a state of ecstasy, one leaves me in a state of paralysis.
I don't have to tell you which is which.
On the first day of press and industry screenings for the New York Film Festival, I always ask myself-- do I love this festival because it matches my taste in film or did the festival actually create my taste in film, so I love going back for more?
