What are We Watching this Weekend?

With the big Reverse Shot cookout tomorrow, I'm out of commission for the entire day. Sunday might be a good time to hunker down with more Louis Malle - all three parts of his Phantom India are screening at Lincoln Center. On the other hand, I still haven't caught up with March of the Penguins, Batman and a host of others...

Haha! As if you went to that 7 hour Louis Malle thing at the Walter Reade after leaving the party at 4 am. Sunday was a day for cleaning, and reminiscing about the previous night's highlights:

LaBete80: I do remember about a solid hour of Reverse Shot stalwarts standing in the kitchen belching out semi-legible movie opinions.
LaBete80: Dorktastic.
jeffreichert9: I remember at one point calling Truffaut an asshole for no real reason
jeffreichert9: and telling Matt Plouffe that he couldn't talk to us anymore because he liked Palindromes
LaBete80: Yeah, everybody was courting controversy for the sake of it.
LaBete80: See Koresky's ill-articulated Searchers bashing.

I didn't make the Malle, but I'm sure as fuck buying the DVD when it comes out and bringing it over to your house.
