Best Online Video

Film writers we may be, but ones who try to pull our heads away from the screen (or out of our asses, depending on your preference) to see what's going on in the real world from time to time. Sometimes there's cinematic magic to be had in the unlikeliest of places. Yes, we're supposedly a "just a film blog," but this video (give it a little bit to load) from today's White House press conference packs more tension created through editing and quality performances into a mere six minutes than anything I've seen in quite some time. I'd say it reminded me more than a little of Bresson's Trial of Joan of Arc except that this is terribly funny. Why we haven't had a movie based on a White House press secretary yet is beyond me.
