I like the snake's single, piercing red eye, and the way that it curves to form the "S" in "Snakes on a Plane." This is some fine work, Matthew Barney. Fine work indeed.

I was about to say its the best thing he's done since CREMASTER 3, but then I remembered that C3 was garbage, so let's just call it "the best thing he's done." I think it's his collaboration with McKeon that really helped pull this together.

They should wait until later in the year to release this. Otherwise Academy voters might forget how great it is come Oscar nomination time.
