L Magazine has just named Reverse Shot's Nick Pinkerton one of the Top 5 Film Critics in New York. We couldn't agree more with their vote, or their assessment of his writing. Though they failed to mention the dashing 'stache, impeccable taste in music and his superhuman ability to wear cream seersucker. Nick found our very first printed 'zine three years ago, contacted us, and quickly became an essential part of Reverse Shot and a great pal.

With Nick's writing now appearing all over the place, people are finally starting to see the truth. There are few writers these days, outside of Kent Jones, as good at pinpointing what makes a film tick. Incredibly honest, unbiased, dauntingly detailed, and propulsively entertaining writing. We're all in awe.

Let's not rest until we've got 3 of the Top 5.

I feel it's worth noting that Mr. Pinkerton has never in his life worn seersucker; the only cream-colored accoutrement he owns is in cashmere. Get your couture straight.
