Who do you like more?

I needed an excuse to push those soul-destroying photos further down the page.  I think this duo will do. 

Do these photos reveal:
a) a pleasant late-life synchronicity between a couple of cigar-chomping masters?
b) an eerily committed Godardian facial homage?
or c) that all Marxists look the same in the end?
