Gerrymandering: Tribeca Film Festival Premiere Tonight!

Gerrymandering, the documentary feature by Reverse Shot's fearless co-editor and co-founder Jeff Reichert, is making its world premiere tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival. While we had drawn a line in the sand (so to speak) all these years of its production and editing about promoting the film on the site, some of us are just so proud of our friend and partner that we couldn't keep our big mouths shut anymore. The film, an exposé about the entrenched political redistricting that disenfranchises American voters and subtly, almost invisibly upends the democratic process, shows tonight, April 27, at Manhattan's City Cinemas Village East Cinema 1 at 6 p.m.; April 28 at City Cinemas Village East Cinema 3 at 5:30 p.m.; April 30 at Clearview Chelsea Cinemas at 7 p.m.; and May 1 at Clearview Chelsea Cinemas at 10 p.m. Get tickets here. New York magazine has called Gerrymandering "exceptionally entertaining" and NBC New York calls it "timely" and "refreshingly nonpartisan" adding, "Reichert not only manages to keep things light . . . he even builds suspense." Congrats, Jeff, and see you tonight.
