Award-winning producer/director/writer Stanley Nelson, who won 3 Emmys last year for his documentary Freedom Riders, will be celebrated at this year’s Full Frame Documentary Film Festival Tribute.
The festival is scheduled to run from April 12-15 in Durham, North Carolina.
“I am thrilled to be honoured with the 2012 Full Frame Tribute... Full Frame’s past honourees include not only some of the most important documentary filmmakers working today, but some of my personal mentors and role models. I am humbled to be in their illustrious company,” said Nelson.
The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is one of the top-tier documentary film festivals in the country, if not the world, with an annual international offering of usually 100+ non-fiction films.
Congrats to Mr Stanley Nelson; well-deserved.
