23 South Mediterranean Producers To Participate In The Training Programme From Mid-March
Up to 23 producers from the South Mediterranean region are to take part in the 2013 edition of Access to Markets in the Digital Era, a training programme co-funded by Euromed Audiovisual.
Over the course of three training modules to take place between March and October this year, they are to develop their feature or documentary film projects, and learn more about funding, marketing, distribution, and the legal aspects of the business.
The 23 selected projects by directors from Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco and Palestine are:

Access 2013's first training module, to take place between March 19 to 24 in Ronda, Spain, is to allow the 23 participants to learn more about a project's development, funding and co-funding, co-production, legal aspects and contracts, as well as negotiation techniques.
In June 2013, producers are then to take part in an online module through which they are to benefit from tutors' support throughout the whole period of training. The tutors are to support each project's development.
Finally, in October, a third training module is to discuss marketing, distribution, and digital media.
The Access initiative is financed by the European Union's Euromed Audiovisual programme, with the support of the Media Business School (MBS) and in collaboration with Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts (RSICA), the International Association of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean (APIMED), and Sud Ecriture/Nomadis.
