In a video clip we posted in late April, James Franco, said he thought Rihanna may have a part in the Seth Rogen end of world comedy titled The End of the World (previously titled The Apocalypse), which will star Franco, Rogen, as well as Jonah Hill, Aziz Ansari and Craig Robinson; each of them will be playing themselves. In the movie, while all the above names are attending a party at James Franco's house, along with many other celebrities, the apocalypse begins.

It was scheduled to begin soon down in New Orleans on a $30 to $40 million budget with Sony Pictures distributing it, with Seth Rogen making his directorial debut (co-directing alongside Evan Goldberg).

Well, it looks like Rihanna has indeed been cast in the film, which is already shooting.

She tweeted the following earlier today to her near-20 million followers (yes 20 million):

Just leaving set! Kevin Hart clearly has childhood issues! Lolololol ! This has to be one of my favorite moments in life #endoftheworld

So Kevin Hart's in this too, I suppose; both of them playing themselves as well? This looks like it could be a fun flick; I'm thinking something similar to a film like Cloverfield.

Confirming all of the above, here are a few photos (above and below) of Rihanna and Hart on set (courtesy of PopSugar), shooting scenes with several other familiar faces like Emma WatsonJason Segel, Danny McBride and others, in New Orleans.

The apocalypse-themed film is set for release next year.

So Rihanna's the latest young, black, untalented and unskilled "actress" to be on the radar of myopic Hollywood? Good for her...not so good for those of us who love movies.

I see the usual suspects in Cera, Rogen, Franco, Hill, Robinson, et al. I kinda want to see this film like RIGHT NOW as it most likely will be ridiculously hilarious. *crosses fingers*
