50 Cent Developing New York-Based Drama Series Set In A Nightclub, For The Starz Network

After recently canceling one acclaimed drama series in Boss, the Starz network is replenishing its original series slate by getting into the Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson business.

Fiddy is said to be developing an hour-long drama series for the Starz network titled Power.

Power will center on a New York nightclub owner "who skirts the line between legitimacy and criminality."

Randall Emmett of Emmett/Furla will exec produce the project, alongside Jackson and Mark Canton (300).

Courtney Kemp Agboh (writer and producer of The Good Wifewill write the script for Power, and will also serve as exec producer. 

The collab is all part on an ongoing relationship between Fiddy and Emmet/Furla that has seen feature films like Freelancers, and the upcoming thriller The Tomb, among others, produced.

    Yeah he a worker, but when will his work start producing quality content. A lot of producers and writers do this they sell a project to a cable/Broadcast network and line their pocket with 5 to 6 figures. Does mean any of it will go past development stage.
