Production on Michel Gondry's Mood Indigo is currently in full-swing, on locaiton, in Paris; and courtesy of French zine, Le Monde (via The Playlist), here are several images from the film, which should captivate.

As mentioned in a previous post, the cast includes Romain Duris (L'Auberge Espagnole) and Audrey Tautou (Amelie, Dirty Pretty Things) starring as Colin and Chloe, a wealthy couple that endure hardship when she falls ill with the strange ailment of "water lily in the lung."

Much-lauded French actor/comedian Omar Sy (The Intouchables) co-stars in the film as Colin's man-servant Nicolas.

And Aissa Maiga also co-stars as a character named Alise - the long-suffering girlfriend of Colin's best friend.

The film is expected in 2013, and I'm definitely curious.

A few pics above and below (head over to Le Monde's website for the rest).

YES, I LOVE Aissa Maiga, she's such a beautiful woman with fantastic talent. I hope she gets to utilise her wit alot more in this movie. Her parts (in the films I've seen) have always been fleeting but wonderfully acted. I've been waiting for my next Aissa hit because her films are usually french indie and more hard to come by.

    Can't wait.
