The 8th Annual Tarifa Africa Film Festival in Tarifa, Spain, will begin place next week, running from June 11th to the 19th , showcasing some 148 movies from 23 African countries.

Aside from the many films being presented, the festival will also conduct the 3rd Africa Produce Forum, where 10 African filmmakers will compete, with their projects, to get funding from European producers.

In addition there will be the 4th PhotoAfrica competition, which offers 3,000 Euros in prize money, to African photographers.

The festival takes place in Tarifa, located on the southernmost tip of the Spanish coast, some 15 miles from Morocco, across the Strait of Gibraltar.

For more info regarding the festival, go HERE; and if any of our S & A readers who are planning to attend the event (since, of course, we have readers around the globe), please tell us about your experiences and what you saw.
