All the chatter about Restless City opening this Friday (courtesy of AFFRM), got me wondering and looking ahead to director Andrew Dosunmu's next film, which in turn inspired what is going to be a series of posts highlighting upcoming films that haven't debuted anywhere yet (not even on the film festival circuit), that we here at S&A are excited about; at least I, Tambay Obenson, am excited about.

Sergio's post just beneath this one, announcing the Blu-ray release of New Jack City got me thinking... now there's a movie that just doesn't hold up 21 years later! Although some would say that it didn't "hold up" during the year of its release!

Warner Home Video has been pretty aggressive lately, regularly announcing many older titles, some stretching as far back as the 70's, that they are releasing soon on Blu-Ray. This, despite the fact that some experts are saying the format doesn't have much longer in this world.
