For the second weekend in a row Think Like A Man was No.1 at the box office beating all comers inclduing The Five Year Engagement which was predicted to be No. 1 this weekend, but didn't fare any better than fifth place (Actually a very amusing film, but with a turn off title that no doubt hurt its performance)

The inspirational 54-min documentary Healing Neen, directed by Laura Cain and produced by Cain and Thom Stromer, the latter who serves as the film's editor, will be screening at the United Film Festival in New York on May 12, 2012. Neen won the Director's Award at the Hearts and Minds Film Festival in Wilmington, DE in April of last year, and was the New Hope prize winner at Pennsylvania's New Hope Film Festival in July of last year.

The new Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia opened last Thursday on Michigan's Ferris State University's library basement. Dr. David Pilgrim, an African American collector of racist memorabilia, founded the museum.

I considered starting this earlier in the series, but, to be frank, after watching episode 1, as I expressed in my post stating some concerns I had for the show, I wasn't quite sure of how it would evolve and progress over the next several episodes.
