South African *neo-noir* thriller How To Steal 2 Million, which I first profiled last summer or so, and was intrigued by, based on what I read about it, and saw from its trailer, will finally make its way to NYC (meaning I'll get to finally see it), when it screens at the upcoming New York African Film Festival next month.

It feels like it's been ages - 1 1/2 years - since we last wrote about this film; a Nigerian flick called Relentless, shot in Lagos, directed by Andy Amadi Okoroafor, and co-stars Nigerian-German singer and songwriter, Nneka Egbuna.

Following its world premiere at the 20th Annual Pan African Film Festival in February, writer/director (and S&A contributor) Nijla Mu'min's short film Two Bodies will next screen at the Women of Color Arts and Film Festival in Atlanta on March 17th. The film will also screen at the Fusion: Los Angeles LGBT People of Color Festival prestented by Outfest, on March 24th at the Hollywood Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. The Fusion film festival slate also includes Darius Monroe's short film SLOW, and Andrew Ahn's 2012 Sundance short film, Dol (First Birthday).

BBC2 will tonight premiere a new docu-series, Reverse Missionaries, that looks at how missionaries from Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean fare when they visit the English homelands of the missionaries who introduced Christianity to their respective countries, and try to do the same.
