I don't know who in the world greenlighted this move, but the Independent Film Channel (IFC) unveiled its 2012 - 2013 original programming line-up this week, and surprise, surprise--  it includes a new installment of singer R. Kelly’s “hip-hopera”, Trapped In The Closet.

This was S&A’s first year at The SXSW Film Festival, so, as could be expected, there were a few hiccups here and there, but mostly logistical. However we (myself and Vanessa) got through it all unscathed; lessons learned for next year’s festival that will assist in planning for it when the time comes.

Salli Richardson-Whitfield is slated to co-star as an unhappy trailer park dweller in Downwardly Mobile, a Roseanne Barr NBC comedy pilot. Downwardly, co-created by Barr, John Argent and Eric Gilliland, stars Barr as a mobile home park proprietor and "surrogate mother" to her neighbors in a downward economy. John Goodman will co-star as Rose's friend named Buzz.
