The long struggle to get a Bob Marley film made has been well documented on Shadow And Act (I recommend reading this post for the details: http://bit.ly/hEs4jj). What we have ended up with after all that is Kevin Macdonald's documentary MARLEY, which will world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival this month.

I know Tambay has been pursuing an interview with Chimamanda Adichie to talk about the controversy surrounding the casting of the film (I'm talking about Thandie Newton) that will be based on her book, but hasn't been able to lock one down he tells me.
