Titled Death For Sale, this Moroccan drama premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall, and will next screen at the Berlin International Film Festival which gets underway this week in that city; and how I wish I was there ot cover it. Next year :)

Thanks To "Overwhelming Popularity & Demand" Broadway Revival Of "Porgy & Bess" Gets 3-Month Extension

The revival of Porgy & Bess on Broadway is apparently doing incredibly well at the box office, so much that the producers of the show announced today that they will extend the musical's run, which was originally scheduled to end on July 8, to September 30!

Sean Combs aka P. Diddy (or whatever he's calling himself these days) has jumped on the bandwagon for Oscar nominated documentary Undefeated as executive producer (it opens February 17), and he'll also be exec produce the faeture film remake that The Weinstein Company is reportedly developing.

A number of new projects up for sale have been (and continue to be) announced at the the European Film Market (EFM) which is now underway in Berlin; including this one titled Porn In The Hood, a French film from French production company Gaumont, so I assume Porn In The Hood is the English title.
