The Viola Davis education drama, initially titled Still I Rise, and then switched to Learning To Fly last month, has gotten another name-change.

SPARK, a new label dedicated to releasing quality documentaries on the arts created by the Cinema Guild to release on home video and/or digital, will distribute Everyday Sushine: The Story of Fishbone a documentary about the band Fishbone, the pioneering Black rock band that is celebrated its 25th anniversary last year; Laurence Fishburne narrates the acclaimed film about the group who released their highly-anticipated most recent album Crazy Glue, on October 18 2011.

Long-time Spike Lee editor (as well as director and producer in his own right) Sam Pollard's feature documentary for PBS, titled Slavery By Another Name, will make its debut at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, in the documentary competition section, and it's on my short list of films to see while I'm there, starting just over a week from today.
